Ever wanted colored Blosom rounds? Like clear ones? Check them out. I might add my setup is looking baller IMO now....The green oaks work much better than black. Real wear holding up king too.

A real wear here designed by Kerry. Will be sent out on Saturday....only just got it done.....was a pain testing all the methods, and working out techniques for applying the graphics well. They should hold up pretty decently and wear like a real skateboard deck graphic. I'm still perfecting my methods on them, and the system Ive made up works well. By the time these are ready for the masses i will be 100% happy with them....At the moment id say im 80% happy with the finish/application/wear-ability/print quality. My test deck Ive been seshing for a while now seems to be holding up good, and is looking sick. More news to follow as and when on the various projects going on :) Norwood Pete has been at it again! Check out that rasta colored bike in the vid One day coming soon....... Also to the minions of people who have inquired. Decks are available from FingerSized. If there are no decks in stock, then there are no decks in stock. All the more reason the pick one up when they are in stock. ;) So im sure you are all aware of Unites infamous 'Set up of the week' competition. Another week has passed, (doesn't time fly?). The winner i am proud to announce was this beauty. Blosom deck in vivid red ash. The center ply is yellow, sandwiched between two dark blue plies, then a turquoise/teal top ply. Rad. Did i also mention brand spanking new wide BRT's and what looks like FF g5 wheels. I dont know where this setup emerged from, i cannot find it on the usual suspect forums, but it stood triumphant anyways. Check out the original post at Unite. Also Kerry mentioned that it was a tough call deciding this weeks winner.....It was either this deck or another Blosom in the running!!! Wow!!! Makes all that hard work and attentions to detail that take ages to complete worth all the while. Seeing the decks loved makes me happy :) http://www.unitefingerboarding.com/2012/09/setup-of-week-106.html First deck from the new real wear graphics.
Expect a whole series of decks soon featuring many designs and even pro models. This deck features greenery from my poly tunnel equipped with an eye in the sky cloak. Real wear Blosom, wide BRT's, Oaks and Propaganda tape. What more could you possibly ask for? Benches i hear you say.... Nice bit of support from Jayden.
Showing some solid skills. Be sure to check his YouTube and subscribe! This Blosom made its way to the States and is now complete with its new owner (and good friend of mine) Jayden H. It looks gorgeous if i do say so myself. I know when i take pictures myself of the decks, they look good, but they always come out dark, (i guess as i flash them). This deck looks super vibrant as it should be. AND as a bonus Jayden made a unboxing. (i must have been good in a previous life) :) Thanks Jayden! Appreciate it. http://www.unitefingerboarding.com/ As im sure some of you are aware, there was a lot of controversy around Unites SUOTY comp. Mainly down to cheating. YES THERE WAS CHEATING. AND YES THE WINNER WON BY CHEATING. FACT. The online poll system is flawed. its way open to cheating. I know Kerry said he had cheating software and monitored the polls, but that didn't stop the cheating. In the few times i checked the polls, setup no.1 was in front. then, if anyone challenged that leading position, (by nearing 5 votes) no.1 would just increase their vote some more. CHEATING in my book. I didn't monitor the polls, but the times i checked, then checked back in 5/10 minutes i could blatantly see that no.1 was going up in 10 votes a time.....Keeping their neck out in front. cheaters get hit by karma spells, so good luck with that. I would say congrats normally, but i know for sure the winner cheated. Amongst all this IP hiding/cheating i am pleased to know that Billy's Blosom setup placed 3rd. 3rd is an epic place in my book. 3rd without cheating. Props to Kerry for putting the competition on, and for BRR and some other loon for sponsoring. Next year i hope a new voting system will be in place because this year it was seriously flawed....... Kerry is too nice a guy, and it really p1ss's me off that grubby little dweebs cheat. But its nothing new....The other point i would like to make is that there were a lot of other setups that deserved mentioning. Mallory's setup for instance. Hand drawn graphics, laser engraved decks, rare, unique decks.......What this proves is what i knew all along.......And i will leave you with that thought. The majority of people are easily led, much like sheep, and that no matter where in the world you are, corruption and dirty cheats are everywhere. Those are my thoughts. I mean, the winners setup was great, dont get me wrong, Berlinwoods are solid decks, BRT's, Zeph's artwork, FF wheels......just setup of the year? Maybe I'm a sheep dog. MEH. |
