In all their glory of the low light. I particularly love the dark wood on the top deck. It looks beautiful when snapped like this. On a dark day the bottom ply would look plain dark brown. The purple lacewood is just great also in this light! This is a special deck i made for somebodies birthday. Its shorter than a normal Blosom, and has a pointed nose, and squared off tail. Pretty sexy i think. Possibly something for future release? Who knows?     So my good buddy Yong got at me on FFI and placed an order for a deck, but i foolishly forgot to send the deck out for over a week!!! (bad i know.....so sorry Yong.)
He messaged me on FFI and said 'have you sent the deck out yet as its not turned up?' I was like 'OHHHH SHHH....' So once again sorry for that Yong. I hope the extras make up for the extra delay. Thanks for supporting Blosom!  The 2nd batch of Blosom's all have interesting dyed plies throughout. Each and every one i made to be unique. I think it shows. These dont look fantastic now, but once they are shaped and the lacquer goes on, this batch will shape up to look really nice and vivid. I have more new colours dying as we speak, so in the very near future, i will be able to offer every colour imaginable and then shades in between. Also white woods coming very soon.  The top plies on this 2nd batch have mixed woods throughout.
On the first batch all the top plies were plain natural maple, with a black blosom logo stamp. This 2nd batch the top plies will be mixed, (to show they are the 2nd batch) and also there will be a new colour of stamp, or maybe even a new design of logo and or colour change. I like to make each batch different, and it keeps things mixed up. Also it lets you know which batch your Blosom deck came from. There are lots more things in the pipeline coming very soon First news will be here so stay tuned. |
